Summer Warning
During the summer months when the central heating is not used it is essential that you switch the heating on(on low) for an hour or so each week.
In doing this you could prevent any build up of sludge within the system solidifying and blocking pipes/radiators completly and also prevent the central heating pump from seizing!

The microprocessor TDS meter offers a rapid and accurate field test for determining the concentration of total dissolved solids in system and mains waters. The prime use for the TDS is to determine whether a system has been correctly flushed after a chemical clean. This is done by comparing the readings between mains water and system water samples.

The Fernox Water Test Kit is designed to give rapid on-site analysis of the major water parameters that
can affect the life span of a central heating system.
This test kit is supplied with all equipment and reagents required to determine chloride, copper, iron, hardness, pH and Fernox Protector levels. All tests are suitable for use with water containing Fernox corrosion Protectors.
Easy to use colour charts are provided for the iron, copper, pH and hardness tests. Simple drop tests are used for measuring the levels of inhibitor and chloride.
